Has lived in town since: All his life I live here because ... Cherryville is a great place to raise a family with a quiet atmosphere, great public schools, no traffic problems and low crime rate.

My hometown is special because ... It is a unique place. I have visited other cities and towns in the United States and have yet to find a town like Cherryville.

My favorite thing about my town is ... raising my family in a small-town atmosphere along with the Cherryville New Year Shooters — a very interesting tradition.

If I ever left, the thing I'd miss most is ... family and friends.

The future of my town is ... great! I know many people see Cherryville as a bedroom community with slow growth, but that's OK. As long as our quality of life is not affected, a small town is a great asset. If we lose our small towns in America, then we lose the very core of what started America.
